Alright folks. It's been a while since I've submitted any journal updates, but this one is kinda important. As some of you may know, I've been accepted as an assistant to
You're given a prompt, you write something new according to the prompt, you send it in a note to the club with a subject that is indicated in the journal, and the deviant who came up with the prompt will critique all the pieces that were submitted, as will anyone else who takes the time.
This time, I'm the one hosting! (I know, right?) It's not because I'm one of the new assistants; my idea was accepted before I sent in my application. It's because I came up with a prompt that has potential for some great writing. So please, I'm on my figurative knees, begging you to submit a work of fiction to this prompt, which is on Naturalist literature. If you don't know what Naturalism is, check the journal, which has a few resources to help you out. Just do it quick because the deadline is Wed. August 6, midnight GMT. I'll seriously cry if I'm the first workshop ever to inspire absolutely no submissions.
*kLiT-sHy does an interesting thing with her journals that i'd like to try out with mine. At the end she always has a little prompt, usually a question, a sort of addendum that you can comment on even if you don't feel like commenting on the info in the rest of the journal. Here's mine:
